We’re so excited to announce our first garden partnership! This spring, we will be helping Calvary Church to install a community sharing garden on their sunny east lawn. Calvary’s garden will be within walking distance of many neighborhoods that will benefit from ready access to fresh produce at no cost, and we can’t wait to help get it started!
If your organization is interested in hosting a sharing garden for your neighbors, you can fill out our garden application form to start a conversation. Lots of different types of gardens and hosting arrangements are possible, from pollinator strips along roadsides to small berry patches to large vegetable gardens. Whether you can host a garden for your neighbors to harvest directly or if you would prefer to grow for local pantries, we can help you get started, find funding, and create a maintenance plan. One day, we hope our community will be dotted with a wide variety of sharing gardens, and we’re looking forward to partnering with you to help realize that dream!
